Journeys Reopening Plans Journeys Lutheran School’s response to Covid plan to reopening in the fall of 2020 was created with consultation from CDC guidelines, DPI Education Forward guidelines, American Pediatrics Association guidelines, Hales Corners Health Department, Greenfield Health Department, as well as various other resources. While JLS is trying to plan with the most current information available, this is a rapidly changing situation. Because of this, this plan is subject to change as new data becomes available. The administration will continue to actively monitor the most current information to ensure the best options for protocols are being met. Please be assured these procedures will be taught and repeatedly practiced with the students as they learn to adjust to these protocols. While Journeys Lutheran School feels strongly the best option for students is ‘in person’ schooling, we realize this may not be a feasible option for all families and students at this time. In response to needs of select families, we are offering the option of an ‘at home’ version of schooling. This plan is an option to provide flexibility for families who have health concerns due to COVID-19.
